- By completing the form you accept these terms
By completing the form, you confirm that you accept:a) that this is a community event (event) designed to support our community in particular the Persian speaking community and not for the benefit of any political or religious group or individual;b) that by participating you and ensure that all your staff, employees and agents are respectful of and comply with the above; and,c) these terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not complete the form. - We may make changes to these terms
We amend these terms from time to time and without notice. - Obligations of the partiesA. You must pay our applicable fees (as set out in our various offerings), clear into our bank account prior to the event and by no later than 21 days prior to the date of the event.B. You must, in accordance with these terms complete and deliver your services and offerings: a) in a manner that is in all respects in compliance with all laws, codes and standards, including without limitation occupational, health and safety laws and standards, food safety laws and other regulatory and local authority bylaws; b) where reasonably applicable, ensures the safety of persons and property; and, c) on request from AISOV, provide evidence of compliance with this clause.C. You must not do or fail to do anything that may damage or bring into disrepute, or attract public or media attention which may be detrimental to, the event, AISOV and / or our community or other sponsors and participants.D. You indemnify us, our agents and officers (Indemnified Parties) and hold us and each of them harmless against any liability and any other loss, damage (including reputational damage), claim, action or expense (including legal expense) (Loss) incurred or suffered by any of them in connection with the Agreement or the Activity which arises from or in connection with:
a) any fraudulent, wilful, unlawful, dishonest or negligent act or omission by you or your employees, agents or officers;
b) any breach of these terms by you;
c) any injury to, or death of, a natural person and any loss of or damage to, real or personal property caused or contributed to by you or your employees, agents or officers; or
d) any claim, action, demand, or proceeding by a third party against the Indemnified Parties caused or contributed to by you, your employees, agents or officers.E. Your liability under the above provision 4(D) to an Indemnified Party will be reduced to the extent that any negligent act or omission or wilful misconduct by that Indemnified Party directly caused the relevant Loss.F. We do not guarantee that our event, or any offering at the event will always be available, or uninterrupted. We therefore, do not warrant or guarantee in anyway the success or otherwise of your sponsorship or any space you secure at the event for the purpose for which you secure the said space. Our liability under or in connection with these terms is to the maximum extent permissible by law is strictly limited in aggregate to an amount equal to the amount of the fees you pay to us to secure a sponsorship or a space.G. Any promotional information released by you in relation to the event must first be approved by us prior to its release and the use of our logo or any promotional material produced by us without our express written consent strictly prohibited. Any approval or otherwise is at our discretion entirely. - Privacy obligations A. We and any people or legal entities authorised by us may gather and process the personal information: a) which you may provide when completing this form or any other online or other platforms or medium of AISOV, such as your name, address, e-mail address and other personal information about you; and b) regarding the way in which you engage with AISOV including, without limitation, information acquired through the use of “cookies” delivered to your computer when you access our online platform.
B. We may authorise others to offer you goods and services using the information acquired, as described in clause 5(A).
C. We will comply with the Australian Privacy legislation in respect to our collection, storage and use of your personal information.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASING TICKETS:
– Free entry to event for kids under 6 with adult supervision only.
– This event is a public community event at which there may photos and videos taken by various parties including those engaged by Australian Iranian Society of Victoria (AISOV).
– All AISOV material including any photos, videos or any other material prepared by or on taken on behalf of AISOV are the property of AISOV and as such AISOV reserves all right to such material.
– By entering the event you and any dependents accompanying you, expressly consent to having photos and videos being taken.
– This event is organised to be a family and child-friendly event and as such the consumption of alcohol or illicit drugs is strictly prohibited, and any violation of this rule or any other inappropriate or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.
– Please obey relevant parking signs.
– Park within marked bays (if marked).
– To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISOV, its officers, agents, contractors and volunteers will not accept any liability whatsoever for any claims, losses, damages caused as a result of, in connection with, your attendance at this event.
About Event
Chaharshanbeh Suri, a significant Iranian festival celebrated just before Norooz, is a cherished cultural event that last took place in Melbourne in 2019. This festival holds immense importance, drawing over 7000 enthusiastic participants, making it the largest gathering of Iranians in Victoria.
This year, the festivities promise to be even more spectacular as Chaharshanbeh Suri coincides with the Taste of Persia food festival. Scheduled for the 12th of March, this double celebration will take place in the scenic surroundings of Ruffey Lake Park in Melbourne.
