Women Life Freedom Public Event

As spring returns after every winter, the bright days of our beautiful Iran are sure to appear also. Until that day, we will neither sit idly, nor give up on the dream of freedom for our people.

On Thursday, September 28, we will stand together for “Woman, life, freedom”. We will in unity and solidarity, raise our voices again demanding justice and human rights for our people.

In our journey our loyal friends continue to stand with us and as always, we will have some of our respected community and political leaders present in show of support for our cause.

Additionally, as the advocates for human rights globally, Amnesty International Australia have continually exposed violations of human rights in Iran, especially against women and girls.  On the anniversary of the death of Mahsa Jian Amini, Australian Iranian Society of Victoria (AISOV) is proud to have partnered with Amnesty International Australia to further advocate for and celebrate the resilience of those fighting gender apartheid and oppression in Iran.

Please feel free to bring your children as there will also be an art and craft booth for them, an information booth, and a registration booth for volunteers for future events. We also urge you to bring a friend or two to help us amplify the voices of our fellow Iranians who are fearless and resolute in their efforts.

We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, September 28th from 5 to 7 PM at Piazza Italia.
